This study investigates the strategic role of communication in advancing the circular economy as a pathway to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, 50 peer-reviewed articles were analyzed using bibliometric tools such as Publish or Perish and VOSviewer to identify thematic trends and research gaps. The findings reveal that communication is not merely an information tool but a key driver for behavioral change, public awareness, and cross-sector collaboration in circular economy initiatives. Three dominant communication strategies emerged: educational, participatory, and collaborative communication. Furthermore, the integration of digital technologies has enhanced the reach and effectiveness of sustainability messaging. Despite growing academic interest in circular economy and SDGs, the role of communication remains underrepresented in the literature, particularly in developing country contexts. This study concludes that strategic communication should be embedded into sustainability policies and practices to ensure inclusivity, scalability, and long-term impact. The paper recommends future research to develop context-specific communication models that address socio-cultural, technological, and institutional challenges in promoting sustainable consumption and production patterns aligned with SDG 12 and broader sustainability goals.
